‘Sleeper’ Geneva: a multi-species, ‘target-rich’ lake in Minnesota’s Douglas County

Located on the eastern edge of Alexandria, Lake Geneva has a reputation as one of this area’s premier largemouth bass and panfish fisheries. It’s also part of the Alexandria Chain of Lakes, which includes other popular destination water bodies such as Carlos, Le Homme Dieu, Darling, and Victoria.
Every lake in the system is noted for its ability to produce largemouth bass, bluegills, and crappies. But its Geneva’s consistent production and size structure that seems to stand out just a bit more.

While these two water bodies differ in physical characteristics such as size and depth, there’s plenty of fish movement between the lakes – so what you find in one, you’ll find in the other.
