Lake Traverse is located north of Browns Valley on the Minnesota/South Dakota border. Since it is border water, management of the lake is a cooperative between the two states, and border water fishing regulations apply.
This is a big, expansive lake that’s popular among anglers and highly regarded for its excellent walleye and panfish production.
