As turkey season progresses in the Northeast, host Dan Ladd is joined by John DeGroot, co-chair of the new Western New York Longbeard’s chapter (flock) of Turkeys for Tomorrow. DeGroot explains how his group came together and decided to partner with the parent organization. They also spend some time talking about turkey hunting, mentoring and some other plans the new chapter has in the works.
