Sporting bills emerge in early portion of New York’s legislative session

Although New York’s legislative session began just after the first of the year, it’s still early in the process. Lawmakers mainly have the state budget to consider.
What follows is a list of some, but not all, of the potential laws of interest to the sporting community, along with their status at press time on Feb. 12.
