Making it to a 64th Wisconsin deer camp is a win in itself

If November played football, it would be a pulling guard leading the ground attack, flattening the first defender and telling the rest of them to get out of the way because winter is on the horizon and no one messes with winter in Wisconsin.
November also is a month of pilgrimage, a journey to a holy place for many in Wisconsin, to the deer camp, an institution of wonder and history – a place that sits among all the good things that make life a worthy adventure.
