The Ohio DNR (ODNR) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Aug. 6 to celebrate the re-opening of the recently renovated Put-in-Bay Aquatic Visitor Center.
Gov. Mike DeWine, First Lady Fran DeWine, ODNR Director Mary Mertz and Division of Wildlife (DOW) Chief Kendra Wecker welcomed guests from a number of local organizations involved with tourism and fishing on Lake Erie to be the first to see the renovated center.
