As of early May, it’s no surprise that the 2025 turkey harvest is still on course to likely break the top five rank for all-time harvest, coming in with around 13,220 birds so far this spring.
“If we didn’t have another registered turkey, which obviously won’t be the case, that would be good for the fourth-highest harvest, all time,” said Nate Huck, Minnesota DNR migratory game-bird consultant.
