As I read this quote by Rita Mae Brown in an issue of Reader’s Digest recently, I instantly thought of how it relates to turkey hunting. In turkey hunting, the lessons you learn and the mistakes you make along the way shape the kind of turkey hunter you become and they play a part in the decisions you will make on future hunts.
