Long Island spring turkey hunters can register for New York DEC lands

The high demand for spring turkey hunting opportunities on New York DEC-managed lands in Suffolk County makes it necessary for Long Island turkey hunters to follow specific access procedures to ensure equal hunting opportunities for all.
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation requires spring turkey hunters to enter a drawing and make reservations before hunting on most DEC-managed properties by midnight March 20.
