Youth shooters are coming to central Ohio from across the country to compete in the 2024 Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) National Championships.
Shooters ranging in age from sixth grade to college will compete in the two programs organized by the SSSF: the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP). Hosted by the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, the annual youth shooting sports competition will be held July 9-20. Although registration is still open until July 5 for the 2024 SCTP and SASP National Championships, there are already 3,657 youth athletes registered, which is more than 500 more than last year.
