Bob Larson spent decades working as a professional fishing guide. He’s caught, and helped others catch, enough species to populate a freshwater aquarium. Now that he’s retired, however, flathead cats are often his fish of choice.
“Oh, the power,” he said when asked why he pursues flathead catfish. “Tremendous power. And they’re fairly easy to catch. That’s what it’s all about for me is the fight, their power.”
