Fishing typically slows as we head into mid-July, and many of us struggle on our home lakes. Not much you can do under those circumstances other than start prospecting some new water.
I decided to commute a few days in a row to Minnesota’s Becker County and check out some of the gems sprinkled around the area. It’s about an hour from my house, but as dedicated readers know, I am used to making long, daily drives.
