I have a complicated relationship with bowfishing.
There’s a lot about it that I love: the excitement, the fast pace, the chance to see the underwater world illuminated at night and the challenge of identifying your target and actually hitting something. But there are also aspects I struggle with: the waste of a life if the fish isn’t eaten, late nights, loud motors, and bright lights involved in the sport.
