Leave it to William Shakespeare to weave an intelligent, but nefarious, bird species into a play regarding a 15th century English king. Clearly, Shakespeare had a fondness for the avian kingdom. In all, in fact, Shakespeare threaded some 65 different bird species into his long list of plays.
