There’s a certain rhythm to spring gobbler season in our household, and even our two Labrador retrievers join in, dutifully jogging out to their backyard kennel in the morning darkness, apparently able to distinguish between our camouflaged Remington shotguns and the Browning Citori 20 gauges that send them into a dancing, whining celebration, knowing a pheasant hunt awaits.
