If I have it my way, by the time you read this, I’ll have punched my turkey tag. As it is, I’m ruminating on a gobbler that has me intrigued, and I don’t know that I have a great plan to get close to him.
I typically hunt Minnesota’s Season A unless we are still piled up with snow. Occasionally, I’ll slip into Season B. But rarely do I go much beyond that because I just prefer early season turkey hunting. Well, prior commitments and weather are not playing nice for me this year, so I’m staring down the third season as my go-to plan.
