Rep. Maloney seeks a grand jury hearing to investigate harassment claims against Pennsylvania Game Commission

State Rep. Dave Maloney is asking his fellow legislators and Gov. Josh Shapiro’s administration to allow a grand jury hearing on alleged harassment of female employees at the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
The minority chair of the House Game and Fisheries Committee, Maloney sent a letter April 15 to all House and Senate members and Shapiro’s office urging them to not be silent on the former female employees’ allegations of harassment.

Minnesota DNR Enforcement Division adds two K-9s, one short of goal

The Minnesota DNR Enforcement Division is nearing its goal of deploying 10 K-9 teams, with two new dogs expected to join the field this summer.
Hank and Molly, two Labrador retrievers, arrived in February and are currently undergoing training to become conservation officer K-9s. Their training began in March and is scheduled to run through May.

Minnesota’s New London-Spicer community rallies around family in effort to build new shooting complex

A community fundraiser, expected to draw more than 1,000 people, will help build a new shooting complex in the New London-Spicer area, a project created to honor two brothers who died in a 2024 UTV accident.
The Wild Haven Throwdown will take place Saturday, May 9, at the Smilin’ D Arena and Event Center. Proceeds will go toward the Wild Haven Sportsman’s Club, which is developing a multi-use shooting complex for local youth and families.
