Outdoor Heritage Fund performance audit, LCCMR priorities heard in Minnesota committees

Representatives from the Legislative Citizens Commission on Minnesota Resources testified before the House and Senate last week on their annual funding recommendations. No vote was taken during the March 3, House Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy meeting, but the language did pass the Senate Environment, Climate and Legacy committee meeting on March 5.
According to Rebecca Nash, LCCMR director, the commission received 400 proposals for 2026 amounting to approximately $359 million.
