White Earth, Minnesota DNR enter accord on managing White Earth State Forest

On Tuesday, Feb. 3, the Minnesota DNR and White Earth Nation formalized a partnership in managing White Earth State Forest with a memorandum of understanding.
“We have very good working relationships and decided we would formally document that coordination work. And so, none of the work that was happening or that does happen between White Earth and DNR changes because of this,” said the DNR’s Regional Parks and Trails Northwest Regional Manager Ben Bergey.

Pizulli, who represents Scioto, Adams, and part of Brown counties, sponsored HB641, dubbed the “Tails & Trails Act,” ostensibly to bolster the economy of his district with increased visitation and tourism. “We need the economic driver,” he told Ohio Outdoor News recently.

You – and I – likely didn’t get down on the stock and line up your shotgun’s bead on the longbeard’s head and neck. A red dot scope undoubtedly would have helped.
