Red dot scopes help eliminate gobbler misses

Seasoned turkey hunters, those with decades of experience, can recall their successful hunts with amazing clarity.
But even more so do they remember so vividly the misses, those times when the gobbler ran off after the shot went awry at the moment of truth. You – and I – likely didn’t get down on the stock and line up your shotgun’s bead on the longbeard’s head and neck. A red dot scope undoubtedly would have helped.
