State Rep. Justin Pizulli introduced legislation in early January to study the prospect of reintroducing elk to Ohio and developing trails for side-by-side vehicles in the state forests.
Pizulli, who represents Scioto, Adams, and part of Brown counties, sponsored HB641, dubbed the “Tails & Trails Act,” ostensibly to bolster the economy of his district with increased visitation and tourism. “We need the economic driver,” he told Ohio Outdoor News recently.
