There are special feelings and apprehensions as folks get older. As an aging hunter and fisherman, I began noting this 16 years ago at age 50.
Mortality, limitations of certain activities, and the sadness that this reality brings is often difficult to reconcile. I’ve often believed over the years, that I really did not fear too much in the outdoors, but as time went on, certain uncertainties came to the fore.
