Ohio Insider: Hunter avoids any potential controversy by contacting wildlife officer before pursuing massive buck

My first thought upon looking at the photo of Zac Prickett’s non-typical buck for the first time was, “Man, that thing is gnarly!”
We detailed the story of how the big Ohio buck shot in Champaign County came to its knees at the hands of Prickett’s bow. Prickett, an experienced bowhunter, did something really smart before he harvested the buck he had nicknamed “Junkie.”
