Ohio Insider: A history lesson on the state’s gun deer season

I’m writing this column amidst the traditional gun week for deer in Ohio.
If you will allow, I thought it would be fun to look back on the origins of the Buckeye State’s gun season. I was reminded of all this recently after reading an old news story from The Dayton Daily News by late outdoor writer Jim Robey.
