Idaho’s nonresident big game hunters should expect something different when planning for the 2026 season.
The Gem State has transitioned its nonresident tag distribution process from an over-the-counter, first-come-first-served system to a draw system, the Idaho Department of Fish and Game announced in a press release on November 24. Nonresident hunters have until December 15 to submit draw applications.
