Steve Carney: Rattling during the rut, and where’d the crappies go?

There’s nothing more exciting in the whitetail-hunting world than actually “rattling” a buck into bow range.
I have used real antlers and also fake antlers and had about the same success. Here are some thoughts on the process to draw those bucks in close.
