Lake Erie’s walleye fishery continues to amaze people every day – diehard anglers, weekend warriors, and fishing enthusiasts that are new to the sport.
In the 16th annual VIP Lake Erie Experience held out of Dunkirk, N.Y., spearheaded by the Eastern Lake Erie Charter Boat Association, outdoor and travel media, tourism folks, politicians and more shared time on the water and broke bread together. Early August is a perfect time to be on the water and with the year the lake has been having for walleye fishing, organizers couldn’t wait.
