On Tuesday, June 17, at the eleventh hour, the New York State Assembly voted on, and passed A08330-A, legislation that clears the way for crossbows to be used in any big game archery season. The Senate also passed the bill (S06360A) on June 11 with a vote of 57-2, while the Assembly’s vote was unanimous.
