Illinois turkey biologist expects solid spring season

In a professional move, the state’s top turkey biologist sidestepped the act of making a prediction for the upcoming spring season.
Only forecasting Illinois’ weather provides a wider margin for error. But, following a record harvest in 2024, Luke Garver did weigh in on the 2025 hunt, noting the many factors that go into a successful turkey season.
