The ease of last year’s winter season appeared unlikely to repeat itself as far as the Minnesota deer herd is concerned. However, as February draws to a close, the winter of 2024-25 seems destined to fall into the “mild” classification once again. Just not as mild as a year ago.
In many parts of Minnesota, that’s good news for deer, and for deer hunters.
