New York youth hunters capitalize on special hunts

Despite challenging weather in parts of the state during New York’s special youth big game hunting weekend, young hunters and their mentors made the most of it. And, they’ve been doing the same around the state during youth pheasant and waterfowl hunts as well. During the Columbus Day Weekend youth big game hunt, the 10th Annual Finger Lakes Regional Youth Deer Hunt took place at the former Seneca Army Depot – now Deer Haven Park LLC.
