The North Dakota Game and Fish Department has announced the seven lucky recipients of the highly coveted bighorn sheep tags for the 2024 hunting season, which begins Nov. 1. Six North Dakota residents secured a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hunt bighorn sheep.
The seventh tag was auctioned in May by the Midwest Chapter of the Wild Sheep Foundation, with all proceeds going toward bighorn sheep management in the state.
