Another good year expected when Ohio’s archery whitetail season starts Sept. 28

The long archery season for deer is nearly upon us here in the Buckeye State. The ODNR Division of Wildlife is anticipating much success for hunters when bow season opens on Sept. 28. (Photo by Linda Arndt)

It should be another banner season for archery deer hunters in Ohio.
That is the word according to Mike Tonkovich, the ODNR Division of Wildlife’s deer project administrator for Ohio Outdoor News’ annual deer archery preview.
“If you’re looking forward to seeing lots of deer and possibly harvesting a nice buck it’ll be a great season for you,” Tonkovich said.
