Most who apply for Ohio’s controlled hunts face long odds

That people believe in miracles is reflected in how many of them are willing to accept the one-in-302.5 million odds of winning the Mega Million Dollar lottery by matching all of the numbers and the Powerball.
Yet hunters are no different. And though the odds of winning one of the Ohio Division of Wildlife’s lottery-selected controlled deer, small-game, waterfowl, and waterfowl blind hunts are better than one-in-302.5 million, the chances are still stacked against an applicant.
