If you rewind the clock and look back at the history of the turkey season in Minnesota, you’ll see that a few decades ago, things were vastly different.
One of the changes, that’s a huge benefit, is the opportunity to hunt until sunset. While most turkey hunters won’t be caught dead not hunting at sunrise if they have the chance, the afternoon shift is a great time to get out there. This is especially true during the last few weeks of the spring season.
