Like it or not, politics is firmly entrenched in the operation of the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
The argument that legislators should have no say in how the Game Commission functions is admirable, but not realistic. In fact, recent actions by the agency itself have reaffirmed that politics is one of the most significant factors in many of the decisions made by the commission board.
