So, you want to kill a spring gobbler? Here’s what you need to know as a beginner

If there’s one common trait I hear from new or would-be turkey hunters, it is that they know little about it and are often unsure where to begin the learning process. If you fit this description, know that you are not alone. Turkey hunters are not born, they are made, and we all have to start somewhere.
I believe that becoming a successful turkey hunter requires three things: the right hunting spot, knowledge of your quarry, and the ability to use turkey calls to coax them into gun range.
