Andrew Zysek: Three favorite trap sets for catching midwinter coyotes

Coyotes may be trapped in the snow by a trapper who is willing to work hard for them. I have a few favorite trap sets for midwinter coyotes, including the trail set, chaff/hay bale set, and the urine post set.
At this time of year, the male coyote has two things on its mind: mating and eating. Food is scarce during the winter so coyotes will roam.
