If your idea of public forests is tens of thousands, or maybe even hundreds of thousands, or unbroken acres, this isn’t that.
Though not the smallest state forest in Pennsylvania, Weiser State Forest is far from being the biggest either. It takes in about 30,000 acres in what’s considered the “ridge and valley” region of eastern Pennsylvania.
