Conservation Congress Wolf Committee members had opposed the original draft of a DNR updated wolf plan that was released in November 2022, and now moved up its 2023 fall meeting to review a revised wolf plan (released Aug. 1) prior to it being presented to the Natural Resources Board (NRB) on Oct. 25 in Madison.  The committee, chaired by Ed Harvey, Jr., met Sept. 23 at the Marathon County Library, with 13 members attending in person and five via a virtual option.
