According to March 15 declarations released publicly the last week of April by the Wisconsin DNR, the Lac du Flambeau (LdF) tribe announced its intent to harvest 1,288 walleyes from the five-lake Minocqua chain that’s in its eighth year of no walleye harvest. The declarations of hundreds of lakes across the ceded territory detail harvest intentions for mostly walleyes and muskies for all six northern Wisconsin Chippewa tribes.
