Try big Pennsylvania trout streams for that western feel

Pennsylvania’s large trout streams offer plenty of seclusion — and trout — to make one feel he or her is on a Rocky Mountain trout stream.  
I spent most of this past week walking the banks of Pennsylvania’s Big Pine Creek while casting an assortment of nymphs and Wooly Buggers in the hope of hooking up with one of the many trout that swim this huge flow of water.

Four leaders headed for Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame

The Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame (WCHOF) will induct four individuals to join the 106 previous inductees that represent some of the best of the best among Wisconsin’s conservation ranks.
On April 25, Mike Dombeck, of Stevens Point, the late Byron Shaw, of Amherst Junction, and Mark Martin and Susan Foote-Martin, of Arlington, will be featured in virtual Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame induction ceremonies.
