Southeast Pennsylvania Fishing Report – September 14th, 2012

Lehigh River Anglers were catching decent numbers of smallmouth bass on small crawlers. Trout were hit or miss. Twister tails and rubber worms, live minnows, and leeches were working on a variety of species. Little Lehigh River (Lehigh County) Trout were hitting at dawn, with powerbait effective. Tricos were unpredictable. Nymphing was the best bets.

Northeast Pennsylvania Fishing Report – September 14th, 2012

Upper Promised Land (Pike County) A nice crappie bite was reported, along with bass and pickerel. Little Mud Pond (Pike County) Bass and panfish were generally good. Lake Wallenpaupack (Pike County) Striped bass were hitting crankbaits from shore. One crappie angler caught a 29-pound, 40-inch striper with 25-inch girth. Codorus Lake, Pinchot Lake, Lake Marburg (Adams, York counties) The largemouth bass bite was on at Codorus and Pinchot, while Marburg was yielding white bass in big numbers on nightcrawlers.
