Southeast Pennsylvania Fishing Report – September 14th, 2012

Lehigh River

Anglers were catching decent numbers of smallmouth bass on small crawlers. Trout were hit or miss. Twister tails and rubber worms, live minnows, and leeches were working on a variety of species.

Little Lehigh River (Lehigh County)

Trout were hitting at dawn, with powerbait effective. Tricos were unpredictable. Nymphing was the best bets. Flying ants were hatching in the early evening hours.

Lake Nockamixon (Bucks County)

Large catfish were hitting on stinkbaits and large shiners.
