Southeast Pennsylvania Fishing Report – August 3rd, 2012

Blue Marsh Lake (Berks County) Crappies, including many 12 to 14 inches, were hitting on live minnows around downed trees and other structure. There’s a 9-inch minimum on this Panfish Enhancement Program fishery. Largemouth and smallmouth bass were reported on diving plugs in deeper water near the dam breast area. Catfish were biting chicken livers.

Susquehanna River (Bradford County) Catfish were hitting on crawlers, prepared baits and other baits just before dusk in recent weeks.
