ELY AREA Leeches are producing walleyes on the west side of Basswood Lake in five to 12 feet, at Fall Lake in five feet, and in the current areas of Shagawa Lake. Smallmouth bass continue to hit on most lakes in less than 12 feet, as do smaller northern pike in less than 10 feet.
