Cross Creek Lake (Washington County)

A good early-morning largemouth bass bite was reported on soft plastics and crankbaits recently.

Allegheny River (Allegheny County)

Channel catfish were reported around dusk and into the evenings in mid-July, with chicken livers and creek chubs the best bets.

Lower, Upper Twin lakes (Westmoreland County)

Bluegills and smallmouth bass were reported around dusk and into the evenings in recent weeks.

Acme Dam (Westmoreland County)

Numbers of bluegills were reported in recent weeks, along with a few bass.

Loyalhanna Creek (Westmoreland County)

Despite low conditions in mid-July, a few smallmouth bass and rock bass were reported on jigs and crawlers and soft plastics.

Glendale Lake (Cambria County)

Bass and crappies were reported along with a few walleyes in mid-July.

Wilmore Dam (Cambria County)

Crappies were reported before dark.

Colver Reservoir (Cambria County)

Some nice perch were reported in early to mid-July.
