Finding good information about where to fish for early-ice walleyes can be as hands-on as driving around to check on local spots, but it can also be as simple as calling your local bait shop.

The first ice fishing reports of the season were offered up this week.

From panfish to muskies, Shamineau really does have something to offer every angler. It’s considered a destination lake in the area, and its reputation as a consistent fish producer is no secret.
