Keeping things simple – and it worked. Summer patterns continue, but the change is slowly taking place.

Like it has been over the past couple of weeks, panfish, pike, and bass are keeping people busy across the state.
It was an epic week for big fish. Saw some cooling trends with weather, which was great. Fish are holding to certain spots, but we’re changing approaches – slightly – to trigger some bigger fish.
Anglers willing to put in their time and cover water are catching some walleyes. Sitting in one spot and waiting for a bite to develop just doesn’t cut it this time of year.
The summer grind continues, but we might be seeing some patterns and consistency develop, and on multiple lakes. And the best ways we’re catching ‘em lately …
Bluegill and bass reports continue to be very good and the majority of larger fish are being found on deep weedlines or deep weed flats.
