There’s some seasonal action, mainly during the open-water season for panfish, bass, and walleyes, but virtually no winter pressure because its depth and wind-swept nature rarely allow good ice to form.
On the walleye front, fish are being found shallow and deep. Minnows or crankbaits are working fine on shallow-water points, shoreline breaks, or generally depths less than 15 feet.
You don’t need exacting replicas of crayfish to be successful but it certainly pays to adjust crayfish patterns for bulk and weight.
Attention is still being given to hybrid striped bass in Lake Glenn Shoals, but largemouth bass aren’t conceding the spotlight yet.
